Responsibilities of the WomenPartner International Core Partner Groups
By Jerrilynnb | March 6, 2008
Recommending and *approving new partner companies who will assist with:
- Making phone calls and sending emails to contacts in their Rolodex to help build county advisory boards for monthly marketing summits and event task forces to assist with local business card exchanges;
- Shaping the content in their state’s Business & Professional Women’s Relocation Center by making suggestions, content submissions, and recommending companies that should be listed as a resource;
- Selecting up to 10 key women per month as a group for possible membership in WPI;
- Identifying Corporate sponsors;
- Giving interviews to the press to promote our partner group launches and joint events;
- and educating Jerrilynn about their state’s metropolitan areas.
The initial time investment will be focused around building the core partner group. It will just require recommending women for membership for the April 30th launch. We will block out a date and time on the calendar to meet with them at same time. They can call into our teleconference line for a joint meeting to introduce themselves and learn about WPI.
With a group of 10 women partnering to plan and implement the complementary events along with a task force, the time commitment will be limited to 4 hours a month per person. The core groups will put together an event plan for the first 12 counties they would like to focus on starting with their local counties. The complimentary 90 minute monthly in-person and fee based virtual events will focus on the same county.
The state partner groups will work together to put together a task force of local women from those counties to help them plan and give the complimentary events while assembling an advisory board of 8 – 10 women from different cities in that county to facilitate a virtual marketing round table on how to do business with their county’s women in business market. The task force, advisory board, and guests who attend the complimentary events will help market the virtual roundtables.
Each partner company will moderate her county’s marketing summit. The other partners will ask the questions. This ensures that everyone shares the spotlight and media attention. The events will last about 90 minutes. The time and date will be coordinated by the partners.
Partner groups will meet with Jerrilynn once a month for a one hour PR & marketing session while getting her up to speed on their activities. They will invite a max of 10 women from their state for membership. The goal is to grow by one to three women each month from carefully selected cities in your state.
Realistically, the time commitment is 8 – 10 marketing hours per month once things really start rolling. The time you invest in WomenPartner International is an investment in your marketing. It’s a tool you can use to move your marketing plan forward. Incorporate your marketing goals into the bimonthly calls, ebook, relocation center, and business partner matchmaking events. You will be interacting with prospective clients and the local media every month.
